Description 

The combination ticket for the Desert House and the Palm House gives holders access to two splendid late historicist glasshouses, with impressive trails through the tropical rainforest and the temperate climes of Tasmania to the unexpected abundance of life in the world’s arid regions. Unusual flora and fauna, temporary displays and fascinating insights create a special experience.

Ticket-Details

Savings of more than 20% compared with buying tickets individually.

Admission is free for children aged 5 and under.

Valid for one admission within a year of the purchase date.

Please note 

Children aged 13 or under must be accompanied by an adult.

Concessions available only on presentation of relevant identification. The Child and Young Persons tickets are valid for visitors aged 6-18.

Ticket office closing time and last admission is 30 minutes before the Desert House and the Palm Houses closes.

The Schönbrunn Desert House is open 365 days a year!

January-April: 9am-5pm

May-September 9am-6pm

October-December 9am-5pm

The Schönbrunn Palm House is open 365 days a year!

May-30 September: 9.30 am - 6pm

October-30 April: 9.30 am - 5 pm

Further Information

The majority of the visitor areas are wheelchair accessible.

The Desert House garden, accessed via the Desert House, is open from May-September.

WC facilities are located in the entrance area.
