Description

Not only did the Habsburgs repeatedly refer to the style of the heyday of the monarchy under Maria Theresa in the 18th century to confirm their claim, but modern designers also find inspiration in this unique design language.

In this guided tour, you will learn about the influence of Rococo on Thonet, Viennese Modernism and today‘s architects.

Free admission for children under 6.

Please note: if you take advantage of a reduction in the price of admission, proof of entitlement to this concession must be produced on admission. If the reduction has been claimed without entitlement the ticket will be automatically invalidated.

Students (up to and including age 25) must produce a valid student identity card (ISIC) together with a ticket on admission.

Senior citizens (from age 60) must produce valid proof of age (passport/driving licence) together with a ticket on admission.

Vienna City Card holders must produce a valid Vienna City Card  together with a ticket on admission.

Closed on Mondays (except public holidays)

 Last admission is one hour before closing time.
